Bug- Windows fail-close program
I was editing, primarily by cut and paste, but some by selecting and dragging when it failed.
I was dragging text up the page at page 268 on the attached document when it occurred. It is repeatable. It happened at the same place. It is the remainder of a paragraph stranded below a series of pictures. I always make sure paragraphs stay together in a epub so that the reader can keep with the thought even though 3 pages of pictures intervene. |

I need a better way to find the problem text than page 268? Maybe a phrase I can search for.

Line 245 of part0002.html. There may be an unclosed <div> that is causing the problem.
I highlight the contents between the paragraph tags and drag it up to the paragraph above to insert it. When I start to drag it locks up. I used to do cut and paste and still can. But when I do that, I cut off either the front or back end of the paragraph, and delete the remaining tag, then I paste it with the rest of the paragraph on the other side of a picture. Since I don't always remember to delete the orphaned tag, I thought it might be better to gut the paragraph and leave a valid empty paragraph. |

Doesn't lock up for me. To be sure we are on the same page, here's a screen shot of what it looks like after I drag and drop.

You are in the right place. I was dragging it up to so shall this[insert here]<p>
I was dragging all the contents between the tags, click in that location then get the error message. I just get the error message ebook-edit has stopped working and needs to close. |
