Cleaning Up Calibre
My Calibre files were a mess, so I uninstalled the program, cleaned up the files and tried to import them again. The problem I'm having is that Calibre isn't importing the clean files, it's importing the old ones, mistakes, tags and all. I've looked in every file in my C drive and have deleted all the Calbre files I can find, but it keeps importing the old files. Does anyone know where they're stored? Or, how I can get it to import the clean files?

If you cleaned the metadata and did not use 'Polish', (or use the Modify EPUB PI) the work you did is GONE when you deleted metadata.db (and matching folders/files). Calibre does not update the book automatically |

???? A wild guess would be to go to Preferences - Adding books and uncheck the Read metadata from file contents rather than file name box. Then try importing your clean files again. This is just a wild guess since you haven;t given me any real information to help you. |
