Clips function

I used the clips function on Sigil and such a function has been suggested for the Calibre Editor.
It worked by right clicking then selecting from a list.

I have lately been using Phrase Express in Windows which has keyboard shortcuts. I find the keyboard shortcuts to be much faster when I have repeated actions, so I'd suggest that might be a good approach when the clips idea is implemented.

I am a vim user. The idea of having a macro function that cannot be triggered via the keyboard would never even occur to me.
