Any hiddens fees associated with the Wifi?
I want to make sure that I can access wikipedia without being charged anything. Are there any other hidden fees?

On the Kindle home page, they clearly state "Includes free wireless access to the planet's most exhaustive and up-to-date encyclopedia—Wikipedia.org." However, if you look at the terms of use and policies pages, and in particular the "license agreement and terms of use" at http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200144530

I searched the Kindle store for a list of current fees and can't find any. They may be there but difficult to find. Or, perhaps they will appear there at some time. Oh yeah -- I forgot to include: Quote:

Amazon does not currently charge a fee for accessing the web with the Kindle. They may well do so at some point in the future.

There is that 10 cent fee for converting files via your Kindle email. I can't think of any others.

As usual with these agreements, Amazon can always screw Kindle owners any time they want. So far they are not doing so. |

Amazon took $100 of the $400 you paid for your Kindle and invested in big oil, you won't have to pay any fees ever *
* pure speculation on my part |

I agree that the current free unlimited access isn't likely to last if many Kindle users actually use it heavily, and it would be reasonable for Amazon to institute charges for general web access. |

Just wanted to make sure others realized this fact.
Actually, putting in a WiFi radio would be a good way to deal with the folks that can't get Sprint signals and for people outside of the US. They could make a deal with AT&T or T-Mobile for free WiFi access on their hotspots for buying books and using Wikipedia. BOb |
