Display entity names
1. Bigger question -- checking or unchecking the editor's [Show the name of the current character along with the line and column number] does not seem to make a difference to the lower right corner display. Is that what the option refers to? (Option Ignored.jpg)
2. Small quibble - it seems that it's the character before (not under) the cursor that has it's 'name' displayed since even selecting the NBS it 'decodes' the previous letter (Cursor Position.jpg) |

2. That was a bug
1. Technically, the cursor is actually between characters, so you can either see the character before or after the cursor. I chose before, as that works well with the various features to type unicode characters with the keyboard -- you see the name of the typed character immediately after typing it. I should actually re-work the text for that option. |

No problem --
One approach might be to display the name of the first char in any selected text, and if no text is selected, display the name of the first char to the left of the insertion point |
