Nook App question ...

First, I don't have a tablet, so no Nook app for me ...

BUT, my mom has an android tablet and a Nook STR.

She wants to know if she can hide the cover thumbnails in the Nook App and just show the titles in a list.

I asked if she could sort by title, she said yes (again, I don't have this in front of me ...), but it sorts the thumbnails by title and the thumbnails are too small for her to read the titles.

I asked if she could make the thumbnails bigger and she said no.

So ... any hints here? Can she do what she wants? is there a mod for this? (and exactly how would I do that ... 'cause it's me telling her over the phone)

She reads almost exclusively Nook Books ... when she does buy books from non-Nook (but not Kindle) sources, she waits until I can sideload them with ADE on to her STR.

Maybe there is a better Android app that will automatically pick up her purchased Nook Books?

Thank you!

On her STR, these are the steps:

1) Get to the Library screen
2) Look on the far right of the screen, near the top. There's 2 icons, one of small squares and one of small lines. It's below the search button, to the right of the dropdowns.
3) Tap the icon of small lines. This takes away the thumbnails. The screen will have a vertical list of titles.

Don't know how to do this in the Nook app.

What she wanted was for her Nook app to work like her STR ... I found a replacement app ... Adilko ... it will read her downloaded Nook Books if she keys in the code ... AND it has a "list" feature!

I wrote out all the steps for her and emailed it ... hopefully this will hold her for awhile!
