A dictionary styled e-book?
Hey all, I used to love reading a book in high school on I.T and it would mention a topic and then have a brief description of 2 or 3 pages at the most and it was great because I have ADD.
I'm looking for another non-fiction book with this style, but I can't find any. Thanks! |

Sounds like you're after an Encylopedia. With the likes of Encarta and Wikipedia they embraced new technology fairly early though, so I don't know if anyone has gone back and made an eBook version of the paper edition. At least, a recent paper edition, I believe there are out of copyright versions on project gutenberg and the like.

Right, something using an encyclopedia format would be awesome! Although, I don't want an encyclopedia like Encarta. What could you recommend I get? |

I would have thought that something a lot more engaging than an encyclopaedia would help you hold focus better. And something with a topic you're interested in.
Maybe have a look at awards/best-ofs lists for YA and graphic nonfiction? They're mostly designed for a shorter attention span and a more difficult-to-catch focus. |

I haven't read these, but they might be interesting to you. Kenneth C. Davis has a series of books on various subjects that start "Don't Know Much About..."
Another idea is the series of Mental Floss books. I have read parts of Mental Floss History of the World. Their magazine is also interesting if you have a tablet. |
