New stuff:

Textured backgrounds (selection of 90+ textures).
Long pressing the library checkmark button in bulk edit mode unselects all items and exits bulk edit.
New "Date added" tag in iPhone list view.
Added custom command preset for Terminology.

Enhancements:

[iPhone] Larger covers on home screen.
[iPhone] Bringing up the brightness menu no longer dims the screen (for more accurate preview).
[iPad] Tweaked how the “date added” field is displayed in expanded list view (allows for slightly bigger and more visible book titles).
Marvin applies the paragraph spacing of the last opened book to a newly opened one.
Removed duplicate colours from colour themes palette.
Improved library list view scrolling performance.
EPUB rendering improvements.

Fixes:

[iPhone] Restored the ability to tap on the top edge of the screen to bring up metadata even in small margin mode.
Corrected some ToC problems where the current chapter name was being displayed incorrectly for some books.
In some cases, changing the cover of a book in cover view didn’t take effect until Marvin is restarted.
In some cases, the iOS status bar was remaining visible when the toolbars were hidden in the book.

How do you get to the textures?

"AA" menu in the book, "Themes" tab. You'll find it in the list of background colours - there are also button shortcut links in the background colour lists to scroll you to the textures quickly.

The version in the US store is still 2.6.

Just updated in Argentina store. Shows as update, but the version is 2.6.

CURIOUS: Went back to see version of update and it was updating again. It now shows 2.6.5. Very strange. But, it seems, all is well.

It can take a while until Apple update all App Stores. It just appeared in my App Store just now (about 5 hours after Apple released it).

What wii happen if I am using one of the duplicate colors and upgrade?

@rjcchan - nothing really. In the worst case, the colour name will change but not the colours themselves. The problem was that two identical colours were being listed as different names. The names were removed not the colours themselves.

Love the new textures feature. I am using Extra Clean Paper. Nicely done. I was worried they might be too much, but they really do look real. Thanks for a great new feature to an already amazing app.

If "Publisher's Formatting" is selected the "Themes" tab is grayed out and not available. I can understand why this may be necessary, but too bad

I have a few books with colored text and that vanishes with Marvin Formatting.
