Cannot upload ePub files to Calibre

I can upload PDFs but it will not let me do any ePubs.

Error message:

is your epub really a folder? That seems to be the problem specified. As the book is in Apple iBooks, and iBooks has a habit I believe of unzipping your books and storing in a secretive manner, you might want to check what is actually in the folder "/Users/drewfridley/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks/Downloads/"

Yes, I believe iBooks was formatting it in a way where I could not transfer them to my Kindle. I downloaded the original files again to keep them in forms I could convert if needed. Thanks!
