Ad to Death
Got a new laptop and suddenly notice ads all over the MobileRead pages that I never saw before. There are usually two vertical ads; one in the left margin and one in the right plus annoying horizontal ads between responses to a thread.
I notice none of these on my iPad and do not recall seeing them on my last laptop. Have I picked up some sort of virus? I do have pop up windows turned off in Firefox. Appreciate any advice |

Do you have access to another PC that you could try logging in from? That would tell us whether the problem lies with MR or your PC.

No other PC handy at the moment but, when I get a chance, I'll do that.
I can log in from my iPad and on that I see no ads. Thanks |

Think I just solved the problem. Noticed an 'Ad option' button on the lower left of the ad and clicked that and opted shut them all down. So far, they haven't returned
