Post Series Order

Hi, Amazon have just refunded me for 12 books by 1 author as they would not download fro the cloud.

Once I repurchased them they downloaded just fine. Now though I have another problem putting them into order, all my other series are in chronological order via calibre but I can not get these 2 particular series to follow suit no matter what method I use, in fact if I mess with the title or metadata they vanish from my kindle, can anyone help please?

Books can have more than one order

Publication date (edition)
First Published date
Series: Indexed
Title
Author (sensitive to First listed if multiple)
Date(added to Calibre Library)

You can only Primary sort on ONE of these
additional levels bias the primary sort

Now toss into the mix, Kindles do not support Series Sorting
That is why the Plugboard exists
It modifies the metadata to fudge in stuff YOU want, like Series and Index While leaving the LIBRARY metadata intact

I have an azw3 plugboard the prefixes the title with {series}{series_index:0>5.2f| - | - |}{title}

I have tried the plugboard it doesn't work for these 2 series.All I want to do is put them in numerical reading order, ie, 1, 2, 3, etc. Have tried 01, 02, etc, does not work so am now at my wits end. I know it just 2 series of books but I do like everything in order and my other series are just fine. I wish I knew why this particular author's books are giving me so much grief.
