EPUB to MOBI problems

Hello,

I have an EPUB book that looks fine in the Calibre reader but when I convert it to MOBI (for use on a Kindle) is puts paragraphs only one per page. I have tried checking various output settings and nothing changes. Any way I can get it to convert cleanly to MOBI so I can enjoy the book? I converted the first two books in this series with no issues but for some reason this one is acting weird no matter what I do.

I also tried converting to AZW3 just to read it but it won't finish and gives an error.

Maybe no-one has what they consider to be a useful answer to your problem - I know I don't

Have you read this sticky https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=186697

If you post the information that's suggested in the sticky then hopefully that'll give someone a clue as to what's causing the problem

as BR said, we dont have any ideas based on what you supplied.

I am HTML (and CSS, since I came to here to MR) literate, so I look at the EPUB code. there may be a stray pagebreak_befor: always (but for the life of me, can't see why that would not mess up the EPUB display also.

Validate your EPUB and CSS. Various render engins (and conversion engines) will ignore styles that have errors in syntax or (crazy) values (Validate won't find the insane values)
