Wow, a search feature? What will they think of next?

Seriously, I'm glad they actually got to put that in the app, although at the same time I sincerely hope that I will not be forced to use it again. I had to this summer because I was unable to liberate a book bought on Kobo. And guess what, the book was... a tourist guide. Very easy to use without a search feature.

Hmm...I'm having increasing problems with this app. This is happening on my iPad 2 and my iPad mini. It isn't particular to one book, it happens in several. The book in progress will get 'stuck' in a 'loading' pattern when I open the app. The pink "loading" button is on the right side of the page. The bookmark remains on the left side. Any attempt to go to the next page produces a window that offers to close the book and delete it from the device or cancel. Sometimes closing the app entirely by touble tapping the home button and sweeping upward and then re-opening the app stops, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes using the power button to turn off the device entirely works, sometimes it doesn't. Oh, and highlighting is also impossible with the mini now. This behavior is unique to the Kobo app, I have no problem highlighting passages in books in other apps. The difficulty with highlighting is only occurring in the mini and only with the Kobo app in the mini.

I've tried signing out of the app on the iPad and signing back in, which of course meant I lost all the books I downloaded, so that will have to be redone. The next step is to uninstall the app, I guess. Which I may as well do since I have to redownload all the books anyway.

I've reported this issue with the app's feedback option. Is anyone else having problems with this app?

Can you please let me know if you see this with v7.0 of the app, which I know from other threads you have upgraded to.

Yes, I'll watch for that with the new version. Hopefully the update will correct this.
