Error on ethernet connection

Hello,

I'm starting develop on Irex, I'll try to install jukebox in first, for having a first experience. The developer pack is installed, and now I try to connect on ssh to the irex, but I can't. On Irex, when I launch the connection, the result is "failed". I can ping the irex with my pc, but putty denies acces to the irex.

Irex :
IP : 192.168.0.3
Sub-Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.0.1
DNS : 192.168.0.1

PC
IP : 192.168.0.1
Sub-Mask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.0.1

I don't have DNS, but irex don't save the configuration if gateway or dns field is empty.

SSH doesn't come preinstalled on the iLiad. You'll have to install one of the dropbear packages.

I've installed the dropbear package. I've clicked to run the init.sh and install.sh, but I get the same error message.

On the link, does I need the .zip or the .tar.bz2 ? Is there a difference ? The inbrickable integrates dropbear ?

Does dropbear run on 2.12 (so I'll change the firmware_version on the package), or do i must downgrade the iLiad ?

I've got dropbear running on 2.12 just fine, but I think you have to adjust the firmware_version as you said.

Yes, I do that, and now I have an other problem, putty can connect to the iLiad, i want to login in root, but the password rootme is invalid. others possible password ? thanks

--edit : it's fine, i've installed mxmrt (?!) and seen that i was root. It was easy to execute the command line "passwd" and set the default root password.
