Can't buy books in bookstore after 3.10 upgrade

Both my Aura and HD upgraded to 3.10 this morning and now I can't buy books at the bookstore. Keep getting error messages that say there's a problem. It worked before the upgrade. Is anyone else having this problem?

My Aura HD updated to 3.1.0 today as well -- and I've subsequently bought a book without difficulty. My Kobo store is the Kobo Canada one.

Mine is the US store and now I've found that I can't buy from even a PC or Tablet. It must be their website, not the upgrade. Bummer.

Just bought a $19 (!) ebook by Oxford University Press, and unlike every other DRM'ed title I've bought from Kobo, this one does NOT have an Adobe download link.

So maybe your device was relying on Adobe DRM? And Kobo has now dropped it in favor of going all kepub??

I've had a couple of issues since the upgrade but after powering it off again and restarting, it seems to be working again. If you haven't tried that already, I'd suggest it.

It turned out my bank flagged anything from Kobo as possibly being fraud and they blocked them. It took me quite awhile to figure that one out, but now i can buy books again. Just coincidence that it happened right after the upgrade. Stupid bank...

Just to elaborate what Bank do you deal with so if it happens, we can be aware that there is a known issue with a particular bank, or even stupid banks...... who seem to charge us to look at our monies, place our monies in their care to invest and return to us zero interest but instead.... steal our hard earned monies in fraudulent bank fees.... grrr

Sorry I got carried away about the bank.

My bank did the same thing after I tried to buy an Aura HD from Kobo's website (I am in the U.S.). I kept getting the message "The transaction authorization has been denied" so I tried with different browsers, with a debit card instead of a credit card, etc. My bank notified me that my transactions were being processed, my card(s) were being charged, but then the charges were reversed. I gave up and bought an Aura HD from an nearby indie store (which I didn't even know existed until I gave up trying to buy from Kobo)--using the same credit card Kobo had "denied." When I notified Kobo, they wanted me to try a different browser, a different card--all the things I had already done. Honestly, I think they must use the same programmers for their website as for their firmware.

Anyway, just a note to say it isn't the bank's fault that Kobo's website is a fail. The bank saw several attempts to charge my credit/debit cards, and put a hold on the cards until I could verify that it wasn't fraud. They did the right thing. Sorry your bank didn't notify you.
