Font size
I know it has been asked a million times, and I swear I have searched, but I cannot find it to save my life! Could someone please point me in the direction to the post(s) on how to convert epub - epub but make the base font size bigger? Maybe I'm just not searching for the correct terms.
It's strange, the books look just fine on my Sony t1, but the font is just too small on my nook simple touch. The font doesn't need to be much larger, but it is just enough too small and gives me eye strain. Then the next choice up in size is huge!! Thanks in advance to everyone for your help! S |

Under Preferences ==> Conversion ==> Common Options you can set the default. See screenshot.
Or under Convert Books ==> Look and Feel, for setting it only on that specific conversion. |

It is a conversion option ![]() Remember ![]() Preferences: Common Options Sets the DEFAULT for new books If the book has been converted, THOSE settings are remembered, so you have 3 choices: 1: Use the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom (single book mode) or Tick at the top (Bulk mode) 2)Change the setting in the Look and Fell section of the Conversion Dialog 3: do nothing, it is too scary ![]() |

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction everyone!
Quick question though, how do I tell what the base font is to go up from? S |

I think if you set the base to 14pt, for example, then the base will just be 14pt. I've not tested it, but I don't expect Calibre to add the set point size to the base font; I expect it to replace it.
