Question Case with best drop protection?

I'm treating my rather clumsy husband to a 7" HDX Kindle Fire and am in need of a case that will protect the thing from falls. Is Ottetbox my only option or are there cheap-but-reliable cases on eBay somewhere?

Go with OtterBox. You can get one for $36 after taking 40% off from an Amazon Local promo.

I don't have an HDX but having been using Moko cases for many of my tablets for the past several years. The price and quality are excellent and their customer service is great. They have several styles and colors available for the HDX: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_p_...rnid=303116011
