K3 "go to" page/location not working

I've reposted this here in the hopes that someone clever might be able to help.

The problem is that my K3 seems to have lost the use of its "go to" page/location function.

When I select "go to" it becomes impossible to enter the required numerals for a page or location number: pressing the "SYM" key has no effect, and neither does "ALT" + a letter in the top row.

I've also tried using the space bar and then entering numbers. Again, no luck.

I should add that mine has been jailbroken (version 0.9.N) - perhaps it's a side-effect?

But I would be most interested to hear if anyone else has the same fault. And even more interested to hear of a solution, of course.

It's running version 3.4, for what it's worth, and I have tried doing a reset (with no noticeable effect on the problem).

It's been suggested that I might have to un-jail-break it, but I am not sure about having the required skills. I have a bit over 1400 books on it (with 1.28GB free of 3.5GB, it says), but the books are all backed-up on Calibre (none of them with DRM), so I'm not worried about losing any content.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

You have exceeded the document storage limitations of the indexer.

Remove some of the books from the Kindle.
