Ivona TTS on HD+

Hi

Can someone with hd+ please tell me if Ivona TTS (free while in beta) works?

My HD+ seems to be defaulting to the Google Text-to-Speech engine no matter what I change the preferred engine to, when I tried it out on FBreader and Moon+ Reader Pro.

Did you try to select Ivona in settings > language (or something like that. I'm going on memory)

Yes, I did change it in settings but it keeps defaulting back to the Google one. It's a rooted device, so perhaps there's a quirk there. I haven't updated it to the latest version so perhaps that will make a difference.

I have the HD+ and Ivona works for me in Moon+Reader Pro. I am rooted with stock ROM. If I remember correctly, sometimes I have had to reboot after installing the Ivona voice in order for it to stick. I have voice Amy installed.

I'm considering getting this. I have an ipad 3 and I don't really need another tablet but if I can get on a good deal, it looks good.
