That's a great deal! I like that the $40 credit applies to any digital content: Amazon Instant Videos, Kindle e-books, apps, or MP3.

Personally, I expect Amazon to lower prices on select models even further for Black Friday.

For example, Staples will be selling the new Fire HD 7" 16GB for $79. That's a $90 discount and isn't hampered by credits or gift cards.
