One book of series won't convert...
I have, downloaded onto my Calibre library, 4 books in a series (Bruno Chief of Police).
All are AZW, and 3 have loaded onto my PRS350 fine, but the 4th ( "The Crowded Grave") won't - "Could not upload. No suitable format found. Convert to suitable format..." Why do 3 go, and one not ? |

It sounds as if your 4th ebook's file is missing.
The Sony PRS350 doesn't directly support AZW according to the wiki here on MobileRead. Which implies that calibre is silently and automatically converting the books when you transfer them to your reader (which is exactly what calibre is supposed to do). However, the fact that it cannot convert that 4th book means there is something odd with it, specifically. Which is why I suggest it's missing. Since 3 of the 4 are going through fine, it is unlikely to be your settings. But just in case, you could always have a look here: Preferences>Conversion>Output. |

OK, checked the "Output Options" - long list of options down the left sde-panel, including AZ3 & MOBI, but not simply AZW, if that means anything....
The only option actually highlighted in blue is the Epub one . Should any of this be telling me something ...... ? You will gather you're dealing with a bit of a TechDunce here ... but I do try .... ![]() |

Can you read the fourth one in calibre's book viewer? (My guess is that this is a DRM problem.)

Just as an experiment, I "Add Books" 'd the troublesome 4th title, OK'd the "addition of a duplicate", deleted the original version, highlighted the Duplicate" ..... and low and behold, I have a MOBI formatted copy
![]() Problem solved ........ quite how/why I know not. Hmmm.............. Ponder, ponder. |
