Sony Style Gift Card Not Good for EBooks

Thought the Sony Store gift cards were usable on the Sony ebook site but, according to a clerk at the Sony Store here in Northern Va, they can't be used for that purpose.

Thought I'd seen references on the Forum to people using gift cards to buy books but apparently that isn't the case. Are there some other gift cards you can use?

Borders Books sells gift cards specifically for use in the Sony eBook Store. At my Borders they are on a display near the Reader/Reader accessory display. Regular Borders gift cards are not valid at Sony either so be sure to get the correct one!

I did originally go ot the SonyStyle Store and after they figured it out, they did tell me I had to got o Borders. Borders from there is an easy walk. Border's eBook gift cards come in $25 amounts. Last time I went to a Borders they did not have enough of the amount I wanted so I had to go to another Borders. Fortunately the two shops are in easy walking distance of each other. Might want to call first and find out if they have enough.
