N416 button broken - will transplant help?

Two-part question... I have a Kobo N416 here with a broken button, the screen works fine.
Is it possible to replace parts? Could I separate the two halves somehow without breaking them? Does anyone have experience with this? Advice welcome!

And if so, does anyone perhaps have an N416 with a broken screen? I could use it for spare parts.

(OK, this is an older model but if it can be easily repaired, why throw it away?)

What button is broken? Blue rubber cover for 5 way switch separates from from plastic front. Never heard of good repair.

Yes, that's the one. But suppose I find the same model with a broken screen, couldn't I take them apart and make them into 1 complete reader?
