N416 button broken - will transplant help?
Two-part question... I have a Kobo N416 here with a broken button, the screen works fine.
Is it possible to replace parts? Could I separate the two halves somehow without breaking them? Does anyone have experience with this? Advice welcome! And if so, does anyone perhaps have an N416 with a broken screen? I could use it for spare parts. (OK, this is an older model but if it can be easily repaired, why throw it away?) |

What button is broken? Blue rubber cover for 5 way switch separates from from plastic front. Never heard of good repair.

Yes, that's the one. But suppose I find the same model with a broken screen, couldn't I take them apart and make them into 1 complete reader?
