I converted a single-column ePUB to Kindle (mobi) using Calibre 1.4.0 (latest) on my iMac. When I uploaded it to Amazon, it shows up as a dual-column book, which causes problems, like mostly blank pages at chapter breaks.
This is true when viewed on my Kindle Keyboard as well as the Kindle App on my iMac. I've searched high and low looking for how to control this without success. The ePUB looks fine and is in a 1-column format. How do I fix this to work in mobi/Kindle ? Any and all hints are gratefully appreciated. |
