Device Eject not working
Since I upgraded to 1.2 I notice that Device => Eject this device no longer works reliably: The Device column in Calibre disappears, but a $ df in a console shows that the Kindle still mounted.
The Kindle umounts normally using the xfce4-mount-plugin panel plugging (v. 0.6.4) This under SolydX, XFCE 4.10 |

calibre uses udisks to mount/unmount devices. Problems with unmounting will be caused by problems with the udisks install. Run calibre in a terminal as
calibre-debug -g and you may get some helpful debugging output. |

Udisks eject call for: /dev/sdg1 failed: org.freedesktop.UDisks.Error.Busy: One or more partitions are busy on /dev/sdg which is strange, because nothing apart from Calibre was using /dev/sdg1. Will ask about udisk on the SolydX forum. |

Curiouser and curiouser
Out of curiosity I have tried umounting the Kindle from the xfce4-mount-plugin panel plug-in without Ejecting the device in Calibre.
The device is umounted, as shown by $ df but remains shown as mounted in Calibre. Trying to upload a book gives an error message "error communicating with device". From what I read on the French SolydX forum, it might be linked to a problem with udisk2... http://forums.solydxk.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1408&p=13719#p13719 |
