I'm aware of the number of books tagged, but is there a way to also display the total size of tagged books? I have more books than can fit on my Kindle PW, and tagging by size would allow me to better fill the PW's storage space. Thanks. |

And, you could create a CSV catalogue that included size. Then in spreadsheet you could sort on size, create a cumulative size column etc BR |

What I was inquiring about was a cumulative tagging feature. If I highlight and select 2 files, on the bottom left Calibre indicates ### books, 2 selected. It would be a helpful feature to give the size after the 2 selected, 2.3MB. Then if I select a third book, Calibre would indicate 3 selected, 2.5MB...something like that. This way if I have 1.4GB free on my Kindle, I could select a variety of books until I get close to 1.4GB to send to the Kindle. Something like a file manager. I don't know if it can be done, but if so, it would be a nice feature. |

The bottom is a COUNT of records (lines), no summary (of fields) report needed. This display does not require looking at the CONTENTS of those lines. | |

There is also the issue that a single book can be present in multiple formats, so what format would be used if a total could be displayed is not clear.

OK. I don't know how I got along without Calibre. It's a wonderful program. |
