Any pictures sony prs t3 vs t2 together?
Hello.

I want to know if the t3 screen is darker than t2 screen. Has anybody seen a comparative image or video?

Does anybody have both reader and could say that if screen are the same or one is darker than other.

Haven't seen any pics yet like you're looking for.

Be aware that individual batches of eInk screens can vary in the lightness/darkness of their background even on the same model devices.

But all of pictures and vídeos that I see of t3 seems They are greyer than t2.

At 3:47 were comparative t2 vs t3, and I think, "paper" in t2 is whiter than t3. Do you see it?, or perhaps my eyes is lying me ;-)

In this review, they say that:

"The Sony PRS-T3 but can not quite connect to this excellent value unfortunately. The wallpaper of the new Sony device is visibly darker. This degrades the contrast slightly, because the black level has not changed (and is even a trace brighter than the PRS-T2). Thus we measure the PRS-T3 has a contrast ratio of 12:1."

But that could just be the basic differences of one screen to another not necessarily the T2 vs the T3.

But looking videos in IFA 2012 with t2, and IFA 2013 with t3, in the same stand and similar ambient light, sony t3 and t2 looks differents to my eyes.


But, I just found this image with t1 vs t2 vs t3.



and seems to have the same contrast
