bargain book app

Sometime in early spring, I found an app which listed daily deals for b&n and amazon. I've since had to buy a new tablet and cannot longer locate the app. I miss it! The icon showed a few standing books in brown tones. The app was organized in Two sections, kindle and nook. The books were listed,
6 or 7 to a page, with brief notes and genre type. I keep thinking that it had a catchy name, book deal or something similar. Most days, one book might be free, while the rest were a few bucks. Some books were noted as recommended or highly recommended.

If anybody has an idea of the name of the app, I'd be eternally thankful if you could tell me what it's called so I can reinstall it.

I'm unfamiliar with that app, but would like to have it! I'm more familiar with 5ivedom's suite of apps designed to help users find free ebooks and apps.

ETA: I don't know if that's an app; it's a daily e-mail service.

I actually use that already. This was an android app. Hopefully a helpful soul will stumble on this thread who has the app I'm thinking of. Or, I will continue to search.

I don't know if you follow the comments at the bottom of the Free Friday posts on B&N, but I think that's where I found the app to begin with. I may go back and reread all the Free Friday posts and comments if I can't find it any other way.

In case anyone is following this thread--the app is called Daily Book Deals, and it shows about 5-10 books each day which are deals. You can set specific genres that interest you or set to only receive recommended books. Most days, with my settings, there is at least one free book. In hunting for this app, I tried downloading about 6 different apps, and I can see how some would interest others, but for me this is a "curated" list that is likely to have a book several times weekly that I want. Most deals are for a specified period, usually a week or more, so if you don't check the app daily, you won't miss much.
