Find and Replace Stops Short
I'm using Sigil 7.2 on two different machines. The Regex is ([a-zI])\&rsquo\;([a-z]+). The epub file is the same. On my desktop it finds 619 occurances in one try. On my Laptop it finds no occurances until I run spellcheck then it will find 23 occurances of weren’t but ignores wasn’t and isn’t
an such until I run spellcheck again and then it will find the wasn’t's for 33 times and spellcheck again for the isn’t's for 17 times. I have to run spellcheck find and replace over and over. Does anybody have an inkling of what's going on? ![]() |

Do you have different check boxes ticked in S/R in one and not the other?

I checked and double checked to make sure both are set to exactly the same settings.

My bad. Sigil default setting is current file. My epubs are multiple files. Once I changed to all files everything is working perfectly.
