Computers and I do not get along. I'm surprised I've gotten this far.
I'm a simple man, my delights are the exciting children's novels from c.1895 to approx. 1915. It was a better world then, honour, loyalty, patriotism, caring for your fellow man,... And the possibilities to come! Autos, aeroplanes, motorcycles. Yes the world was young and green then,...and so were we.

I'm an old man, more comfortable sitting in the woods roasting a wild boar I shot than sitting in some bombazine smelling drawing room making polite conversation to someone I most likely despise.

I do have a Masters Degree in Psychology, but have rather given up on the modern world. I don't think Heaven recognizes Credentials, but rather good works. Dave the barbarian.

Ahh. Almost forgot (old age I suspect). I joined looking for what was called. The penny dreadful,... Terrible novels written by hacks who never saw the west. Between. C.1890 to c. 1915. Any help locating these writings would be appreciated. I enjoy the psychology (of the author, the subject, and the reader). Intermingled, suspended disbelief and unmitigated hope. Thank. Dave
