Post Stylus Question

I just got my second, Iliad a v1 from the eBay seller mentioned in another thread. Both my v2 (original) and 'new' v1 work great.

Here's the problem: Neither stylus is interchangeable. ie. the stylus for v1 won't work with v2 and vice versa.

To make matters worse, I have two extra styli bought from ereaderoutfitters and <neither> of these will work with v1 or v2.

Any suggestions? Do replacement styli have to be programmed in to work with the unit?

Logically they should all work on any unit....but this ain't logical!!

When you are trying to use the stylus from V1 with V2 have you taken the V2 stylus out of it's holder? If it is in place the tablet is deactivated (to save battery power).

You are not alone! I have a wacom pen for when I need to write more than a quick note and I'm always forgetting to pull the stylus out before trying to write.

Hey Kingston. This is a nice story/meander.
But it's natural when you have to handle more than 1 stylus/or even better 2 iLiads.
As daudi has written, I think I will forget all the time to put the origianl stylus out when my new Wacom pen arrives, too.
