How do you make TOC visible from Kindle Pull Down Menu

Some of my books have improperly configured TOC. Normally, when you tap the top of the screen and tap Go To, the whole TOC would show up and it would show you which chapter you are currently reading. This is not true with some of my books.

Please see attachments.

How do I modify my book so that TOC would be visible from Kindle Go To menu?

There must be a way to make TOC shows up like the picture on the left but how do you do it?

It's in how the book was built to begin with. Nothing you can do without unpacking the book and redoing the TOC entry, if one exists, or creating a TOC and TOC entry.

I already unpacked or exploded the book with Calibre. What change do I need to make to the html files so that the TOC would be properly configured?

One thing you might try with the book is to 1st convert it to epub then load it to Sigil and go to the tools>Table of Contents>Create HTML Table of Contents option. Then once you have created the TOC and saved the file reload it to Calibre and reconvert to Kindle format. Of course that only works if it's a DRM free book that will convert to epub in the 1st place.
