Locate books with DRM in library?
Hi,

how can I identify all books in my library which have DRM?

I have a considerable number of purchased AZW? books, all obtained from Amazon, downloaded onto my Kindle device, then subsequently synced with Calibre. Some of these books have DRM, some don't.

How can I find those which have DRM?

I tried the Quality Check plugin, but "Check DRM" claims that no books in my library have DRM - which is not correct.

(Note: I am not asking how to remove DRM from the books - I only want to find those books)

Preference (icon): Get Plugins: (you want the Quality check PI ) it has a find DRM test

He already tried that . I think that only works on epubs, not mobi/AZW3. I used the Count Pages plugin for it; if it fails to compute a pagecount, the book probably either has DRM or is corrupted in some way.

That book is a public domain book obtained from Amazon, still in AZW format. And it opens just fine with the calibre ebook viewer, so it does not appear to have "effective" DRM attached to it?

Odd. You're right, if it opens with the Calibre viewer, it doesn't have DRM...
