Order experience
Hi, thought I would ask here since so many have bought this device.

I'm in the USA. I ordered a Aura HD and it's been 3 business days since the order. I haven't received anything more than the initial automated email, and my card has been charged. The Kobo website doesn't show anything in my purchase history, although I'm not sure if that is only for books?

I'm wondering if this is normal? Any idea when I can expect a tracking number?

I guess I needed to send them an email (or maybe it was coincidence). I just got my tracking number and it is shipping from Canada, so apparently they don't have a US presence.

Yes, they ship from Canada usually (some have had theirs ship from Hong Kong IIRC). Kobo's US presence is only for CC billing for US customers.

Mine was sent by Canada Post. However, once it leaves Canada you must take the Canada Post tracking number and enter it into the USPS tracking tool in order to follow it after it leaves Canada.

(The tracking tool is in the upper right hand corner at www.usps.com)

Thanks, I see that the Canada tracking number works on the USPS tracking page. I guess I'll have to wait while my new gadget slowly finds its way to my door
