Wow! It now allows selecting different dictionaries while looking up a word. I have been waiting for this feature for a long time. Sony has had it for years, and I have really missed it since switching to Kindle. Thank you Amazon! This really makes my day!

Nice additions. Useful functions while reading. Thanks for reporting.

(Many people in The Netherlands use Sony or Kobo readers, because it's much easier to get Dutch dictionairies on them, and they have Dutch menu's. If Amazon would make their readers more readily available over here, in Dutch with a Dutch dictionairy, I think they'd snatch a big market share in a short time; especially if they'd start selling Dutch books in a Dutch Amazon store as well.)

I updated and custom fonts still work fine.

Yes. I only have one dictionary loaded, but when you highlight a word there is a little arrow next to your default dictionary and when you click on it your dictionaries are listed there and you can choose from them.

Search terms highlighted in search results
When you search for a word or phrase within a book, the search terms will appear highlighted within the search results. When you tap a result to go to that location in the book, the search terms will appear highlighted on the page.

Select other dictionaries when looking up a word
When you look up a word in the dictionary, you can choose to look up the word in other dictionaries on your device from within the dictionary definition window.

View other definitions of a word
When you look up a word that has multiple meanings for the same spelling (homonym), you can navigate through each of the available definitions from within the dictionary definition window.

Seems no skim feature yet, as promissed to the All-New Paperwhite.

I can't wait to try that. I have Webster Dictionary I got from here that works better with historicals. I would love to use a Spanish dictionary as well instead of the translate feature all the time.

I'm thrilled that they are investing more effort into dictionaries (between this and the recent update to Kindle for iOS). Now if only there were more of them available for sale...

Wonder if Kindle Touch will get this one, too.

No hyphenation is not completely correct. You can't have hyphenation on old-style MOBIs without jailbreaking your device and installing jbpatch.

However you can have it for AZW3s (and with a little effort with "modern" MOBIs) using a Calibre plugin. And you can have them without jailbreak!

More likely it will. The last update of Kindle Touch incorporates every features from Kindle PW except the one uploaded today.
