My current calibre setup

Hello,
You have seen me here and there on this forum and I want to show my current setup of calibre.

I have my entire calibre library in my Win2012 server.

I have calibre installed on my workstation.

I have a mapped network drive and I'm pulling the library from that network drive.
In the FAQs it is stated that this should not happen as the system is complex. But yet it is working on mines.
Does this still mean that I can have data corruption.

In addition I have a calibre installed in the Win2012 and that is running my content server for web access. Would this also somehow corrupt my library?

So far everything is working but I have a feeling this will turn sour before I know it, so that is why I post this to get your all feed back and opinions?

Thank you

You may be pushing your luck. What is not known is how close to the hairy edge you are .

Kovid will have to answer about the Content Server in one place and Calibre on another. I think things are close to the edge again.

As I said in the FAQ dont put your calibre library on a network drive, bad things will happen. If you choose to ignore that warning, you do so at your own peril.
