Anyone using Lendle?

I'm in the process of signing up and I see that if I am referred by someone they get additional borrow requests (I don't get anything special).

I like to be able to get the additional requests for a MobileRead user.

If you own A Galaxy Unknown, posting it on Lendle is a quick credit, since there is a wait list.

I am still looking for the perfect way to borrow ebooks. Can you spare a few words on how Lendle works? I did not find a summary on the webpage and do not want to sign up just to get more info.

Well, you have to search for the book you want to borrow, and if it's lendable, you have a "Borrow" button next to it. By clicking it you enter the queue for it and when your turn comes up, you will receive an email that the book you asked for is available to download on your kindle. Depending on how many people have the book you want, the time you wait for it can be either long or short. I have received a book I wanted 2 months after I requested it. But better late than never.

I am also a Lendle user. I borrowed two books through the site. I still have three wishlist books that aren't high enough on my TBR pile for me to purchase them outright.

No one yet has requested any of my books :-(

I gave up on Lendle. I found that a great number of the books listed were the free or cheap daily deals many of us may already have. The books I was most interested in were not available for lending per the publisher.

For instance, I have the whole "In Death" series but I can't lend or borrow any of them.

I did loan 2 books but couldn't find any from my personal wish list. Borrowing from my local libraries was a better choice for me.
