Hi, all. I just came over from Amazon, where someone mentions "Mobileread" on a thread, and I googled to find out more.

I am currently waiting for my Kindle to arrive (I ordered on 3/5), and it will be my first eBook reader. I wanted one for years, but when I heard about eInk technology being developed, I decided to wait.

I was going to buy the Sony reader when they announced it was coming out. Had the money ready. But since the Sony store never answered any of the five emails I sent them asking for details about the reader and when it would actually be available there to buy, I decided against it. And now I'm glad, because from what I've read and seen, the Kindle looks like the one for me.

I'm glad to have found another ebook related site!
