Wishlist

Hi, just bought the Glo today, after much deliberation. I have been playing and setting it up and downloaded a couple of free books. So far, so good.

I then looked at the Kobo store via the reader and marked a few books as wishlist items, but when I connected it to the Kobo Desktop on my PC and synced it, the wishlist did not appear in Desktop. Is this normal? I haven't tried it the other way round yet.

Also, with the light on, I can see a few bright dots, like dead pixels - three on one side, near the bottom, and one on the right edge. Would the shop be prepared to replace the unit for this? It is a little distracting.

I don't know about the wishlist, but about the bright dots, I would definitely take it back and get it replaced. It would drive me nuts seeing those dots.

On the Aura, the wishlist is a menu choice under Bookstore. If it is not there at the moment for the glo, I believe it will be in the next FW. I would return the device for one without pixel problems.

Took it back today and it was exchanged ("my manager says I can exchange it for a new one" - "I should think so", says I).

Just setting the new one up now, and strangely, when I started Kobo Desktop to sync with the new Glo, once the setup had completed, the wishlist from the old one is there!

Edit: just noticed one tiny bright pixel on the new one. I think I can live with that.
