Dropping .RAR files into Calibre

Is it just me, or is Calibre 0.9.31 no longer un-rar'n rar'd files that you drop in? I used to be able to drop them in and have the book extracted -- now, it seems, calibre adds the rar file itself. Am I missing something?

Edit:

Strange, I just noticed that it's showing the book metadata/cover...but still shows a rar file that, when clicked upon, opens an un-rar window.

Edit:

DnD of a RAR'd EPUB file unpacks and the EPUB shows up in Calibre, just like always

Strange, I just dropped 5 in together, and the first one rar'd, and the other 4 epub'd. So I decided to rearrange them in the order I 'grabbed' them and dropped them, and again, the first one rar'd, the other 4 epub'd...only, now, the first one was one that epub'd the first time, and the first-time rar now epub'd...

So it's looking like only the first file is being effected. Weird.

For the record, I'm speaking of dragging and dropping them into the calibre window.

...and now I've done the same experiment using the context menus to load the same 5...with the same results. However they're sorted (in this case by date modified), the first one gets rar'd, the others extracted. Changing the sort to, say, size, and again, the same result.

Any ideas?

I would try opening the file that did not get extracted in WinRAR (or an equivalent) to examine its contents. The commonest reason for this behaviour is the presence of additional files inside the RAR - such archives get added 'as is'.
