If you are reading kepubs from Kobio, sync the Touch to the server before setting up the Glo. When the Glo is setup, it will automatically download the books and bookmarks.

There isn't a way to do this completely for sideloaded books. A copy of the bookmarks for epubs are stored in files under "Digital Editions/Annotations". You can copy these files over to the Glo. As long as the epubs are sideloaded to the same place and with the same name, these will be read and loaded into the database when you open the book.

David, does this also apply to EPUB which are not unencumbered by DRM? And would you know where the annotations for koboyfied epubs live?

The annotations for all types of books are stored in the database. But for epubs and PDFs on the main memory, the annotations are also in the files. It doesn't matter whether they have DRM or not. If the file exists, when the book is opened, the file is read and loaded into the database to replace whatever is there for the book.

If you want to look at the database, the table is "Bookmark". For sideloaded books, the VolumeID is basically the file path for the book. Dumping all the entries with hidden=false would give you the backup. There have been a couple of scripts posted to extract the annotations to show the notes.
