Firmware @.5.3

Saw a rumor that 2.5.3 is being released very soon. Does anyone here have it as yet?

Where was the rumour? If it was because the firmware version supported by the driver in the latest calibre, it isn't a rumour. The number used is how I do the firmware checking and I forgot it would appear in the release notes.

If Kobo do decide on a 2.5.3, I wouldn't expect it until the end of the weak at the earliest. And more likely next week.

It is also possible there there will be no 2.5.3. They could wait and fix the remaining bugs when they do a feature release, perhaps 2.6. I suspect that we got .5.2 when we did because of the importance of the Japanese dictionary fix.

In all likelihood I think I saw mention in Calibre the suggestion of a new firmware down the line. So yes David I believe you are correct.
