Using multiple fonts in PDF to EPUB conversion

[Can a mod please change the thread title to match the post title? I want to convert a PDF to EPUB]

Howdy,

I'm trying to convert a PDF which uses Times and Courier to differentiate between the writings and notes of two characters. Most of the times, they're used in different paragraphs, but sometimes they're used in the same paragraph.

When I convert the PDF to EPUB, the font name/family information is lost, but the formatting is preserved (bold, italics and underlined are OK), and the default font is used.

I tried embedding a font in the "Look and Feel" tab, but only one font can be chosen, and the EPUB ends up using the font for the whole text.

Is there a way to solve this with a plugin or script?
