Series info

Hi first of all sorry if this has been mentioned before but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I have an Aura HD (first ereader and new to kobo) I have Calibre on my win 7 laptop which I have added all the books I want for now (170) and have filled in series name and number where appropriate which displays nicely in the library view on the calibre screen on my laptop. But when I send to device and after the Aura has populted the data I sent it, it does not show series name and number in the library view on the Aura so I have all my books listed but have no indication as to what series the book belongs too or what number in the series the book is. Any help greatly appreciated

Due to the way the Kobo driver works, you have to reattach the device after all the content has been added to the Aura for the Series info to be transferred to it.

Do make sure that Metadata Management is set to automatic.

For additional ideas on book management see Quick Guide to Shelf Management with calibre 0.9.1 & above (Touch / Glo / Mini /Aura) for what I feel is useful approach.

Thankyou Peter it did exactly what you said it'd do I opened Calibre made sure metadata was set to automatic then connected my Aura and now I have all the series info displayed on the device aswell as the Calibre library.
