E-book viewer searching
Is there a way to clear the list of search terms in the e-book viewer? I've used it for so many words over so many books that the list is getting very long. I searched for an option to do this in the Preferences. Am I missing it?

Preferences: Searching: (there is a wide button about 1/3 of the way down)

I think it is kinda blurry having the function only available in the Main program when the Viewer can be(and is ) used without the rest of Calibre running. YMMV

Well, blow me down with a feather, I've often wished for this too. Never occurred to me to look there.

I've been hoping a trash button might show up next to the viewers search box

Wow, I've looked for an option to clear the searched list too. Like others, never thought to look outside of the eviewer window.

I also think it should be part of the preferences available from the eviewer itself and not buried in the main program preferences.
