Changing imported author names in calibre.

In calibre I want the author left hand box to read first name and then surname
However some books import the opposite way round
Is it possible to change that?
If so will it affect the books already in my library? Thanks

Use the Quality Check Plugin (Preferences: Get Plugins to install): Fix section (it will be obvious

) To make thing the same WITHIN your library. This will have some effect with matching up books already on your device.

Thanks. But you have to pay for that. Plus I need an easier option maybe

the plug-in is free (although the author is so helpful I've made a contribution).

Thank you Have now installed it.
Clicked on the toolbar icon and it gives me lots of options
All my long list of books I have changed to FN then LN in my left hand box

So don't want it to mess with them lol
Its new ones I import that may be LN then FN I want to change
Can I set it up to do it automatically?

Would have also liked the right hand box to say FN LN instead of LN FN But that seems too major for 1000 books if I do it wrong
