40% off at BooksOnBoard for the weekend

I was browsing and shopping at BooksOnBoard when I saw that the prices of the books in my basket had dropped. The discount is big - 40% off the list price (according to the mail I subsequently saw), though no additional reward dollars.

It looks like the 40% is removed on the displayed prices.

But using my 40% promo code for being a new member didn't change the prices. Is this the normal behaviour?

I don't know what promo code you have. Usually BOB's discounts are off the list price (which is crossed out) and are applied directly.

The promo code comes off list, same as this sale. Save the promo code to use another time.
