How to search for "C++" in title
Book titles "The Elements of C++ Style" and "C++ Concurrency in Action" weren't found using the Metadata edit "Download Metadata" function. I got "The Elements of C Style" and nothing, respectively.
It appears the "+" sign is invalid and/or isn't escaped in the search string. What's the proper format for "C++" in a title? I ended up pasting the ISBN-10 number in the ID field to find the book. While the Amazon store (and the PDF) shows the title as "C++ Concurrency in Action: Practical Multithreading", the returned metadata title is "C++ Concurrency: Practical Multithreading". One would think Amazon would have a single publications database with a primary key on ISBN but apparently not. Cheers! |

Since the + character usually has special meaning in most url search schemes, it would need some kind of escaping. Do a search on the amazon website and see how it is escaped, then the amazon plugin would have to be modified accordingly. Similarly for the other download plugins. Or just use the isbn, which is easier for the handful of books with + in their titles.
