KFHD7-32 Battery Life Calculation

I just realized that, using the GSam Monitor, there are two ways to measure battery time between charges: Active Time and Screen Time taken right before a recharge.

Active Time measures time even when the cover is closed and MP3's and Internet Radios are playing. The unit is in sleep mode but still ACTIVE. For Internet Radios to play the WiFi must be on.

Screen Time only measures time when the cover is open and one is using an App with or without WiFi on.

I've been keeping my measurements by Screen Time but Active Time is far more accurate. Thus, the battery time between charges is much higher than I previously measured. I frequently use the KFHD7-32 as a battery operated radio with the cover closed.

I prefer reading on my PW but still have the KFHD7-32 playing my own music or Pandora in the background when I sit far away from a radio.

For example, I'm at the 63% battery level now in the current cycle and show Screen Time of 2 hours and 35 minutes but show Active Time of 6 hours and 15 minutes reflecting all the time I was playing MP3 files and Pandora files up until now with the cover closed in Sleep Mode.

In the future I'll be recording my battery time per Active Time.
