play script layout
Consider a section of text laid out like a play script - essentially two columns, the first containing a person's name, top-aligned, the second containing a block of text.
Any better idea than using HTML tables? It works, but it's very laborious. Slightly helped by dropping into a web editor program where I can construct the tables visually, then pasting code back into Sigil. But still laborious. Unfortunately the Word doc original is laid out messily and inconsistently, so auto-conversion is doomed. |

When I do a play, I usually utilize <dt>name</dt> and <dd>bla di bla</dd>

Can it be that easy? :-) I'll try when I get home. Does it cope well when the text runs to more than one line and, of course, the indent needs to be maintained?
